Last week, Blackbird received an e-mail from rockers My Chemical Romance asking if we'd like to be V.I.P. guests at their show that evening with Rancid and Blink 182. Of course we are dorks and jumped up-and-down and cancelled our silly plans for this incredible opportunity.
My Chemical Romance said Gerard had been a long time fan of Blackbird and he is very excited about the tall silver InAisce boots (shown below). The dark and intense look of the boots are going to be just the right detail for MCR's upcoming album (TBD). Nicole, Blackbird's owner and creative director, chatted with Gerard about Dune, Blade Runner, Japanese comics and cartoon and anecdotes about hanging with Jona, InAisce's Designer, while making sure the boots fit properly for a year of stage antics.

Square deerskin laces, 9 eyelets, angled full zipper at inner left with deerskin pulls, reinforced ankle with double stitched details through out. 3" stacked heel finished with 1/4" rubber heel cap.
