THE HONDA CIVIC TOUR 2011 FECHA 18 - DENVER COLORADO

BLINK 182 Y SU BATALLA CONTRA LA MADUREZ.

My Chemical Romance and Rancid join the fray

LA BANDA DE TRAVIS BARKER , TOM DELONGE  Y MARK HOPPUS , APARECIO EN DENVER COLORADO PARA PRESENTAR SU ULTIMO ÁLBUM LLAMADO " VECINOS", DESDE EL 2003 QUE LA BANDA NO TENIA UN  DISCO INEDITO Y SE ENROLABAN EN UNA GIRA POR AMÉRICA.
LO MAS NOTABLE ERA VER YA A UNA MULTITUD MADURA, QUE SOBRESALIA DE ENTRE LOS JOVENES QUE ASISTIERON ESA NOCHE AL CONFORT DENTAL AMPHITHEATRE,  FUERON MUCHOS LOS INTENTOS DE BLINK 182  POR SEGUIRSE CONSOLIDANDO COMO UNA BANDA PIONERA, PERO ES OVIO Y SOBRESALIENTE QUE YA NO SON MAS LOS JOVENES LOCOS QUE SOLÍAN SER EN EL ESCENARIO.

DE LO MEJOR DE LA NOCHE FUE LA BANDA ALTERNA MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, QUE SIEMPRE ES UN BUEN ESPECTÁCULO DE VER EN DENVER, PARA LOS AFICIONADOS DEL ROCK, QUIENES DURANTE UNA HORA LLENARON LA ARENA CON TINTES APOCALÍPTICOS Y DE ESTRUENDOSOS APLAUSOS .

OTRA BANDA MAS  FUE RANCID, TELONERA PARA ESTA PARTE DE LA GIRA,  QUIEN TAMBIEN PUSO UN BUEN ANIMO Y LLENO DE EUFORIA A LA GENTE DE DENVER.

Blink-182 descended on Denver Sunday, bringing with them a more mature stage show, a deeper catalog and a freshly restocked arsenal of sex jokes.
Now that the band has finally turned in its first album of new songs since 2003, they seemed eager to get back to the business of rocking crowds and making parents just slightly nervous (jarringly, many of Blink's early fans are now old enough to have mohawked children of their own). Singer-guitarists Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker played multiple cuts from the forthcoming album "Neighborhoods" as well as some much more intricate versions of classic Blink tunes, backing up their claims that the band is at least attempting to grow up.
Still, some of the show's best moments sprang from good-natured bickering between the two frontmen, or from one of them shouting "penis" in the middle of a song for no reason. There's no question that the old Blink is fully back.
My Chemical Romance and Rancid also played the bill, which was part of both the Honda Civic Tour and KTCL's Big Gig. MCR, always a welcome sight for Denver rock fans, put in a full hour of doomsday-tinged arena rock to thunderous applause. More surprisingly, aging Bay Area punk band Rancid went over like gangbusters in the opening slot. If Blink-182 can resurrect themselves, why not bring some friends along for the ride? — Matt Farley, Metromix
